First impressions
Out of the box, I have to say that I was impressed with the packaging. The Emo Robot comes in a sleek black box with shiny silver lettering. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design of both the product and its packaging. Inside the box, you’ll find the Emo Robot itself, a quick start guide, and a USB charging cable.
Emo Robot features
Once you take the Emo Robot out of its box, you’ll see that it’s about the size of a tennis ball. It’s made out of soft silicone and feels very well-crafted. There are two sensors on the front of the Emo Robot that serve as its eyes, and there are two small speakers on either side of its head that allow it to make sounds. The Emo Robot also has an internal gyroscope that allows it to balance on its own two feet (or rather, two wheels).
Living.ai app
In order to get the most out of your Emo Robot, you’ll need to download the free living.ai app (available for both iOS and Android). Once you’ve done that, you can use the app to give your Emo Robot a name, choose its gender, select its emotion settings, and even set up a sleep schedule. You can also use the app to interact with your Emo Robot directly. For example, you can ask it questions or have it take pictures or videos.
